Code of Conduct

Last updated

Enuma is a working environment, not a social platform. Models, creators, agencies, and curators are professionals doing professional work, and we hold every member to standards that reflect that. This document covers behavior on set, in the in-app messaging thread, and the conduct that is never tolerated on the platform.

On-set behavior

The on-set window starts when the booked call time begins and ends when the shoot wraps. Both parties are expected to be:

Punctual

Arrive on time, dressed and prepared per the brief in the booking thread. If you're running late, message the other party through the in-app thread before the call time passes — silent lateness reads as a no-show.

Professional

Treat the booking like a job. Keep the work product, the wardrobe, and the schedule aligned with what was agreed in the booking thread. Last-minute changes to the brief require both parties' written consent in the thread; do not negotiate them on set under time pressure.

Communicative

Speak up. If something on set is unclear, unsafe, or outside the scope of the booking, raise it immediately and document the conversation in the thread when you can.

Respectful of boundaries

The model's comfort and consent are absolute. Respect hard limits stated in the booking brief and any boundary raised during the shoot. A “no” on set is a full stop, not a negotiation opener.

No recording without consent

Behind-the-scenes audio, video, or photography that is not part of the booking brief requires explicit verbal consent before the camera rolls. Do not post BTS content to social channels without confirming the model is comfortable being identified.

No off-set follow-up requests

Don't ask the model for personal contact info, dates, social meet-ups, or off-platform communication during or after the shoot. Future bookings happen through Enuma. Any creative follow-up — second shoot, retouches, reference for future work — runs through the in-app thread.

Communication standards

Use platform messaging only

All communication tied to a booking lives in the Enuma messaging thread. Do not move to SMS, WhatsApp, Instagram DM, email, or any other channel before, during, or after a shoot. The platform record is what protects both parties in a dispute, and moving the conversation off Enuma is considered an off-platform circumvention attempt under section 3 of the Terms of Service.

Professional tone

Be direct, polite, and on-topic. Treat every message as if a future booker, agency, or admin will read it — because in a dispute they will. Slang and emoji are fine; insults, bullying, or condescension are not.

No harassment, threats, or inappropriate content

Do not send unsolicited explicit content, sexually suggestive messages, threats, slurs, or personal attacks. Repeated attempts to contact a user who has stopped responding, or who has declined a booking, are considered harassment.

Response time expectations

We expect a meaningful response to active-booking messages within 24 hours. For pending booking requests, a response within 72 hours keeps your account in good standing. The creator dashboard surfaces overdue threads so they don't get lost.

Prohibited conduct

The behaviors below are the legally-binding prohibited list. Engaging in any of them triggers the strike or permanent-ban process. This list is not exhaustive — Trust & Safety may act on conduct that violates the spirit of this document even if it isn't named here.

  • Harassment, bullying, or intimidation — sustained negative attention, public or private, directed at another member.
  • Scope coercion — pressuring the other party to change shoot terms (rate, duration, content, location, wardrobe) after the booking is confirmed.
  • Off-platform circumvention — moving the working relationship off Enuma to avoid platform fees, even if the introduction happened on Enuma.
  • Identity fraud or fake accounts — misrepresenting who you are, operating multiple accounts to evade strikes, or impersonating another member.
  • Payment fraud — chargeback fraud, friendly fraud, deliberately late payment as a negotiating tactic, or any attempt to extract services without paying for them.
  • Review manipulation — paying for reviews, offering free services in exchange for reviews, posting fake reviews, or leaving retaliation reviews after a dispute outcome.
  • Sexual misconduct of any kind — including non-consensual touching, lewd behavior on set, grooming, or unsolicited sexual messaging.
  • Any conduct involving minors that would violate the law — including grooming, sexual content, or attempts to bypass age verification. Mandatory reporting to law enforcement applies.
